Wax Potpourri Tarts are one of the most highly fragranced products in the Yankee Candle range and are used in conjunction with a Tart Burner / Warmer and a Tealight.

Simply place in a wax potpourri warmer (never add water) and light an unscented tea light below, or use one of our electric warmers. As the wax melts, it releases its scent. Mix and match scents to create your own personal aroma blends. They're also perfect for scenting drawers or cupboards ... anywhere they're stored."

JUST CANDLES TIP : If your like me and love a certain fragrance thats not available in Yankee Candle Car Jars or Gels, then pop a tart into a hidden area in your car and voila.. Your favourite fragrance on the move.

JUST CANDLES TIP : If you want to change your fragrances frequently and scratch your head trying to remove the wax from your tart burner, don't worry. Just pop it in the freezer for about 10 minutes, pop it out and the wax should fall into your hand..

Tealights or Tart Warmers?

Yankee Candle have a tealight specifically designed for use with Tart Burners, these are call Tart Warmers (Click Here) and are definitly recommended by us.

I can hear your brain ticking over... normal tealights are cheaper yes, but most brands such as IKEA tealights have a higher lead content and a higher flame, leading to either overheating or in the worst case scenario, your tart burner cracking or leaking.

JUST CANDLES TIP : Think your a fragrance genius.. There is a way to find out. You can mix and match fragranced wax potpourri to produce your even fragrances, just pop half a tart of 2 or 3 fragrances you want to mix into a burner and see what happens.
